Bring our boys AND girls home. And, stop this bloody madness before my nephew ships out next month. :-(

Brilliant song choice, Larry...Phil Ochs could sure write 'em. Skillful, earnest and passionate rendition you've given us here. Thank you.

Wow thats amazing sounds just like the actual recording

Wow, Larry, what a passionate speech and a passionate rendition of this song. I gave up on politicians a long time ago. Elections are nothing but an exercise in futility.

5, or whatever the max is now, stars. And on all the others of yours I've listened to so far online:
1) Solid voice
2) Solid instrumentals
3) Keen ability to select and feature underappreciated gems
4) Having FUN doing it!
Thanks for sharing!

Very clean and professional sounding. I'm beginning guitar student and I'm learning this one now.

What a spectacular and poignant rendition. I felt very emotional watching this; the expressions on your face showed nothing less of great passion.

The fact that a Libertarian Republican, would not get a seat at the Republican Convention does not negate that he is a Republican. The problem is that the Republican Party has been hijacked by extremist elements, as has the Democratic Party. In the past, I've been a registrant of both parties. However, I now realize that it is folly to adhere to a "party line." These days, I take the position that I consider "right" irrespective of which party is advocating it. PS: I Love Phil Ochs.

An excellent cover. You captured Phil Och's passion and conviction very well. Would you please consider performing Phil Ochs' "The Power and the Glory.'' This too is a wonderful anthem. Peace. Take care.
I might have known you'd be a Phil Ochs fan! I'm a Republican, but not in the sense that the Republican party has been acting much of the time. I'm what I consider a constitutional and libertarian Republican. I don't believe the majority is always right, so I could never be a Democrat. Our nation is a constitutional republic, and should be supported as such. As for war, I believe in defending our freedom, but we haven't fought in a legitimate war since WW2.

Do I look liberal? Like a Phil Ochs fan? If the last sentence in your comment reflects your true feelings, then you certainly would not get a seat at the Republican Convention.. The timelessness of this song is that it applies to the two party system as it exists in its fractured state in our great country. If the founding fathers saw what has become of their ideals, they would be appalled. The country is great. The people in power mostly suck. They posture rather than work for the people.
