((READ DESCRIPTION FOR LIST OF FILMS))
I love movies.I've seen hundreds of films throughout my life, some classic, some fun, all memorable. These are only a fraction of the films that I love; for every one included here there are countless I couldn't fit in. I won't bore you with explanations why these chosen films are my favorites, though I'd like to someday.

This was inspired by two videos: foreverhippo's Disney version of My Favorite Things (which was fit so perfectly there was no way I could top it): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIMxR78YH84
and Hyman74Roth's A Few of Favorite Films (many of his favorites are also mine): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k68WdsFM7-k

Basically I took some of my favorite movies and matched a clip from each to the lyrics of the song. I hope you enjoy it!

NOTE: Some of you may ask whether my love of one of the movies here extends to any of the others in their respective franchises or sequels. Allow me to clear this up:
Indiana Jones: The entire original trilogy is represented by this one clip. And I stress original trilogy, as in, NO KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL.
Star Wars: Again, original trilogy. No prequels (or special editions either)!
Back to the Future: The sequels are ok, but nothing can touch the first.
Scream: Same as above.
Alien: Loved Aliens, but not enough to feature it on its own. I know, kill me now.
Ghostbusters: Enjoyed two, but not as good as the first.
Harry Potter: I had to think about whether or not to include Harry Potter at all, since they sliced out a lot of important plot/character stuff in later adaptations which just bugged the crap out of me. But why do I keep returning to them? The acting, the characters, the drama, the music, I still enjoy them in spite of my nitpicking. If I had to pick, my favorites are 1, 2, 4, 6, and 7(parts 1 & 2)
As for the rest, no direct-to-video sequels can ever come close to the actual thing, so there!
