  • The unemployed part about digging is so true. I make better beats with less records because it forces you to listen harder. When you have mad records, you tend to overlook potential samples from some songs. That's why some of the best samplers are the broke starving artists on the limited budget.

  • the music on jimmy mcgriff's "red beans" is not "awesome" in the least. proof positive that a dope cover can be totally misleading and a guy who spends 8 hours a day searching for music can be totally clueless.
