There is no prblm anymore, i still don't know what happened...

I haven't move anything, it just stopped being noisy... lol

Now i can even sleep when it works, before i had to turn it off to sleep, it wasn't good for the animals...

i have one of these thats close to 10 years old running about 4 feet from me while im sleeping, still quiet and works fantastic, 5/5. great skimmer

nemo prob threw something in the impeller lol

sounds like a piece of sand is hitting the impeller . it happens all the time in my aquaclear 110 filter

This Skimmer works Very Very well you have to Know how to set it up right check my vid my skimmer is running for two years

good luck , Tip / place a little filter fiber under carbon holder to stop the micro bubbles

ya this model had problembs if it aint seated right or not enough water the empeller would rattle and bob up and down not any fun

thats how my rio nano skimmer sounded. until I returned it..

I got one with my set-up, and it was working perfectly fine then. But now, when I try setting it up, it was only making bubbles when you pour water inside the skimmer. It doesn't suck any water into it from the tank. Would you know why by any chance? Do you think I should get a new skimmer? Thanks.
