Is it just me or did this really remind people of Kubrick's films?

*Sigh* Agree.. All these are issues being dealt in the movies, but some people whom are more into light hearted movies will get bored with very intense, serious movies liked these.

The best film that has come out in all of my 20 years on the planet. A true masterpiece. One that ranks with the very best films ever made. PTA out did himself on this one, realistically it would be unfair to expect another film from him that is this perfect.

This is a thinking's man movie. It is one for the intelellects. It is deep... Those who are only into fluff and light movies should not even watch this. They will get bored, it's too complicated for them and they won't even understand the real meaning of the movie...

for the intellects???...deep??? bullshit! its about the interplay of oil, capitalism and religion and about what people are willing to do to get more and more power over and influence on people. but thats anything else but deep!! good acting though...but thats it!

Quite honestly, this is my favorite movie....ever. It's gorgeous. I'm glad PT Anderson and Daniel Day-Lewis exist.
I can't even....it makes me speechless.
