  • you know what i have the same one.and i always help her whenever she want to take her bath.i bath her like a real baby holding her use warm water and a baby shampoo.we did this atleast once every week especially now that summer.i always bring her to office and she love"s too

  • @sheryljaneful DO NOT EVER USE ANY BABY SHAMPOO!!! You will destroy the natural oils in the feathers and possibly the feathers themselves.

  • i have a question what should i do?

my lovebird baths in his own drinking water and he does it all the time,i refresh his water every hour but he doesnt stop bathing in it,he also poos in it

    help!

  • @j0rdy0 You can train your bird to drink from a water bottle like what you give hamsters.

  • So cute!

  • Do they like taking baths in cold water or warm water? Also, should I use filtered water instead of tap water?

  • yes so why didin't you not use shampoo?

  • is this a boy or a girl ?? i have one like this but i dont no if it is a girl or a boy plzz answer :) thanks

  • @j0rdy0 the best way around that is to use a water bottle for drinking--you know...the kind that has a spout drip/feeder on it, and then only use bowls for bathing. however--BEWARE--bottle spouts can clog and birds have been known to die of dehydration if the bottle isn't checked every day!

another way is to provide a larger bowl for bathing and to encourage bathing in that large bowl, while putting only enough water in the drinking cup to get proper drinks, but hardly enough to bathe in.

  • my lovebirds take a bath the same way. I didn't know this was alright for them to do since the bath is so small

  • @stargazrt4 lol

  • Thanks for sharing your videos! Your lovebirds seem very happy and well adapted to the home that you've provided for them. Keep up the good work!
