European Central Bank Chief Jean-Claude Trichet on Saturday urged finance ministers and central bank presidents of the 27 European Union member states to avoid "financial nationalism" and "financial mercantilism" when discussing plans for further economic cooperation. Speaking at a press conference after the informal Ecofin meeting in Madrid, Trichet said

  • @lookingforthemeaning On the contrary Merkel is pleased with the euro (she just don't say it), thanks to the PIGS they can still export, with the Mark they would have been to expensive now, look at Switzerland.

He means that This has to be done as soon as possible and at the European level. This man is scared as he only owns paper money that is worthless.
