The traffic engineers that built Division avenue with 4 lanes, in some places 5 were wrong and the Rapid enviromental study that says the SIlverline will snarl traffic and cause intersections to fail is wrong too? GVSU short connector is a sidewalk's length in comparison to the bulk of funds that would be devoted to miles of the Silverline. The Rapid just spent 30 million dollars on bus garage. They can add the connector line anytime. GVSU kids are getting used to get bad plan thru. Sad.

Nice video and great idea to get mass transit into the Grand Rapids Metro area. You could link on with Grand Valley University and Grand Rapids J.C. That would definitely bring more money into Kent County. I am from Los Angeles but lived in Grand Rapids in the 70's.

This needs to be sent to ANY and ALL naysayers about the importance of and support for mass transit in etro Grand Rapids. Now if only this same crew that produced this video would get with ITP's GT2 steering committee to produce a computer-generated video that simulates the Monroe/Market Avenue streetrail corridor and stations.
