Anita Mwembe of Kafue, Zambia uses an IDE pressure pump, drip irrigation, smart composting and seed selection to turn her farm into a successful business. With her additional farm income from her first two seasons, her husband was able to build the family a new brick house with corrugated iron roof.
Anita has formed a women's cooperative with a revolving loan fund to finance members' agricultural projects, and collect member produce to transport in volume to market.
