Working with IF Productions, SFCG uses the films Weapon of War and Fighting the Silence to foster discussion around sexual and gender-based violence in the DRC. Mobile cinema allowes us to reach remote and rural populations and has been an effective training tool for our work supporting security sector reform amongst the Congolese armed forces and police.

The three target groups for this project are:
(1) Military in the Congolese army, and if possible, members of other local and foreign armed groups operating in South Kivu;
(2) Couples, and where possible those that have experienced sexual violence;
(3) Youth, with a particular focus on university students.
