This is the first part of the Introduction Westwood Studio's Dune 2000.
Many consider Dune 2000, or rather, Dune 2, to be the first RTS game. The game takes place in Frank Herbert's Dune Universe, on the planet Arrakis. Arrakis is the only planet in the universe where the Spice can be found. The Spice is integral to the everyday workings of the Imperium, and millions are addicted to the strange substance. It offers heightened mental powers and senses, longevity, and most importantly of all: instantaneous space travel. He who controls the spice controls the universe, and the Emperor has just begun a war between the three most powerful Houses to see who will control it.

The Corrino was the ruler royal family blood related whith the househarkonnen and house artredies! The 3 big houses which have been founded by the heroes of the buttlarian gihad and machine war! Nut there also much more minnor and some grea houses which they have millitary power! Maybe in vast numbers @SunsetSkaters

@SunsetSkaters corrino was the emperor house i think ordos was just some random thing they chucked in. and they wernt the superior houses this scenario has nothing to do with the book the game was based off besides the fact that harkonnen and atreides hate each other and everyone wants spice.

Dune 2000 was the remake of Dune 2, just sayin'.
Dune 1 was a point and click adventure game. Dune 2 was the first RTS.
