I am getting prolo injections in hip for arthritis.
only perhaps 7 shots or so.
I knew that was not enough -- ya need to be peppered !

I had it done in my basal thumb joint... hasnt totally fixed my chronic pain issues but it has helped immensely to stabilize my joint -- not actually as painful as he makes it look.

@TarrynMartin Thanks for your comment. Glad you have found Prolo helped stabilize your joint. Yes, the treatment is not always as painful as it looks. Dr. Hauser is very fast and we do everything we can to help ease the pain of the injections. Hope your thumb continues to improve with your Prolotherapy doctor.

Well I think my minds made up! My doctor wants me to have prolotherapy of the spine, r shoulder, and hips! Thanks but no thanks Doc!

@bambis46 Just some things for you to consider. At Caring Medical we use a numbing cream and have the option of giving our patients pre-medications to calm them. Some patients go as far as requesting us to use demerol to sedate them. And if someone needs multiple areas done, we do not have to do them all on the same visit. Who knows...your spine issues can be related to your hips, or reverse. Dr. Hauser would be a great source for a second opinion. Best of health to you!
