@56yuoi in like 1974 or so, they had a prototype for a new car, but they never got orders for it.
actually the B-IV hasnt been the only car to be on the Broad Line. they had cars before those and their really old. you see them at Fern Rock..

We had a blast riding on this when we were touring philly, it was fantastic and super fast. We both wish that pittsburgh had an organized subway system like this it would be the greatest thing going in pittsburgh, yes we have one now but it just down right sucks, route wise.

but i still have 1 question how come they never have new car for the sub. yet they had new cars for the "EL" in 1998.
