@bsrman36 happens a lot in combat too. one of the best charging handles you can use to help combat this kind of issue is Bravo Company/VLTOR's Gunfighter handle. (I do not work for VLTOR or BCM)

I prefer the Magpul Ready Mag System but it's always good to practice using these.

@Kalopsia666 ..Thanks. Just thought they could be a little more level. I think some couplers have increased space in between the mags unlike this one here.

What FF Tube is he using? Carbon fiber would be very light.

Anybody notice that after his last round that his charging handle moves back with the bolt instead of being secured? Why and how does that work?

Jerrys charging handle latch was starting to ware out while we were shooting this video. As you guess, Jerry puts it through a lot of use. We replaced it the next day. The charging handle is not supposed to move while the rifle is cycling.

For those of you that want to build a rifle just like Jerrys, get the Jerry Miculek DVDs from Brownells. He goes through everything he puts on his rifle and why. Plus theres a total of 2 hours, 17 minutes of instruction and training on the AR.

I noticed near the end that his charging handle was bouncing back a bit... perhaps it is worn out....
