Exclusive: Islamic Terrorist Tahawwur Hussain Rana's house in Pakistan traced(20 Nov 2009)

TIMES NOW tracked down the childhood home of David Coleman Headley's partner and Lashkar operative Tahawwur Hussain Rana in Pakistan. Rana's home Chechawatni is located about 215 kilometers from Westside of Lahore and was built in 1923. Before partition there was majority population from Hindus.

Rana Tahawwur Hussains' father Rana Wali Muhammad was a headmaster in the government Ray Niaz high school for 15 years.

The home is in 58W Housing Colony in Chechawatni where Rana lived with his father and two sons.
Rana studied here till he joined the Hassan Abdal Cadet College. After his graduation, he left Pakistan. The family is now entirely out of Pakistan.

Rana's father is living in Canada with his third son who is a journalist in Canada and works as a Parliament Reporter. His other brother is also settled in the United States. His younger brother was a practicing lawyer in the district court before leaving for the United States.

His maternal uncle -- Rana Abdul Latif defended Rana saying, "Tahawwur is a decent boy. He has been well educated. Our entire community knows how decent he is. He is looked at by everyone with great respect. Even his friends say he never did anything wrong. He is from a good, well educated family. All our relatives look at him with great respect."

Tahawwur Rana's route to Chicago and his diabolical partnership with David Coleman Headley began in Chichawatni Pakistan where he lived with his father and brothers and went to primary school. His secondary education was at Hasan Abdal Cadet College in Punjab, Pakistan after which he quit military education and immigrated to the US. He chose Chicago to settle where he set up a Halal butcher's shop.

On October 18, 2009 Tahawwur Rana was arrested by the FBI in connection with an imminent trans-continental terror plot he allegedly planned with co-accused David Coleman Headley.
