I highly doubt that the Macomb County Sheriff called out this thing to be used for just to get a poor old unarmed non-threatening man out of his home.
I mean come on, if it was as simple as that, they would have just used the door....
And, if you are in in violation of laws, you give up your right to "fair." It's not like they were applying brutal physical force such as pepper-spray or anything....

He was unarmed. He wasn't threatening anyone. I know, I was there. I know this man. Ask any of his neighbors, they will tell you the same thing. Save your comments for something you have a shred of insight on...
Oh, and they did use the front door. They repeatedly walked in and out of it but determined that wasn't good enough so they brought in a tank.

Completely unnecessary. I suggest you get a new dictionary if you think otherwise. This act was beyond excessive and a waste of taxpayers money that only put our community further into blight. Thanks Macomb County!!!

Sterling Heights Michigan. The city and Sheriff overreacted trying to get a man out of his home. He was unarmed. He didn't want to come out of his house because he was being committed. So, they rammed in every door and window with this tank thing. When he didn't come out, they flooded his basement with water, in the middle of winter, in an attempt to flush him out. This completly destroyed his home, his life and tarnished his family. it also put a great blight on our street.
