Mac fanboy. Regular Dells aren't all that but he has an XPS, those are pretty good. Probably scores twice as high on a benchmark test as your Mac and he probably paid half the price. You must feel like a real sucker for buying that Mac. But I guess they are made for retards with no computer skills so I guess you had no choice. You condescending assholz act like windows crashes every time you start it up. I'm on my 3rd Sony Vaio, I've had Ableton 6,7 and now 8 with no probs. Never lost a track!

no 'mac snobbery' intended, but seriously, there is a reason most music studios across the world use macs. and its not because they are stupid, or because they have no computer skills, or whatever other arguements you have. macs are really great for music production. thats it.

I'm a "mac-snob" (or at least a mac user, who frequently professes their superiority) but busticlebill said it perfectly. That is exactly right, but..--"all the macs are in high end studios ... the macs crash alot"--IMPOSSIBLE, unless you are superduper F**retarded--"Mac is all style and no substance"--Absolute Bulshit also. The problem with comparing macs and pc's is that they are not comparison goods. There not really the same product at all.
nice background music - Sasha, I guess :)

gotta pipe in here too ... I work on both mac and pc ... most of the pc's I use are old and shouldn't work really ... all the macs are in high end studios ... the macs crash alot ... the frankenstein old pc's HARDLY EVER crash and I mostly run more intense sessions on them. End of the day ... they're just computers both mac and pc but with a mac you're paying for the styling (which is def nice) and the propaganda (which pisses me right off!!!)

Agree. The Mac snobbery is a real pain in the ass!!
It all comes down to talent & ability at the end of the day, and what you put in, you get out.
The amount of spoiled idiots i've come across, with just a passing interest in music, who get Daddy to buy them a Mac, and then Profess about their superiority over the PC, really annoys me.
The Mac may be a more stable machine, but if the Music PC is well looked after with Anti-V's etc..(No Games), there should be no problems.
