Grand Theft Auto 4 on my EVGA 8800 GTS 512MB

gets 25-35fps on medium textures with everything else maxed out at a res of 1280x1024.

3.2Ghz Intel Q6600 (8x multi)
4Gb 800Mhz RAM (sync'd with fsb)
evga 8800 GTS 512MB (stock speeds)
evga 680i SLI A1 (1600 fsb)
Windows Vista Ultimate x64 /w SP1

CPU usage while playing:
cores 1 and 2 ~90%
cores 3 and 4 ~70%
so it does take advantage of quad cores =D

they purposely made the game slower on pc. a decent graphics board cant handle the game because of the piss-poor conversion

Most video cards even mid range can handle the game, its how cpu intensive the game is... my 3.6ghz Q6600 can bearly keep the game rolling above 30fps in dense areas

3x 5870 i crossfire.@ 1000/1300

6gb ddr3 corsair dominator GT

i can run this game at 45 fps .. gta 4 suck.

well fuck... guess it wouldnt be worth upgrading to a q9550.. probibly wouldnt even change my fps...

@1080p with settings at high and view distance at 30, i get 30 to 40fps. Its like JUST playable lol
