I love and miss Slew alot. I still see him when I go to my weekly lessons, but it is not the same. I'm no longer the one to care for him (health wise), ride him, graze him, etc. All those things are what made our bond. He was always there to make me feel better when I was sad, but now seeing him just makes me more sad because I love him so much and I miss him. Also, without him I can not continue to pursue my dreams of becoming a better rider. I'm really thankful for the time I did get to spend with him, I just wish it did not have to end.

:( i feel your pain, one of the horses i loved the most, I had a really close bond with her, and now she has been sent away to another place now it makes me sad to even look or think about horses cuz im probably never going to see her again. :,( My heart has been torn apart and i dont know if i can move on. Everytime im having a good time she pops into my head and i get all sad

im so sorry i know just how you feel ive had to see a lot of horses i loved go and it takes a bit of your heart away each time :( but then i found my boy odie and i cant believe how much of my life that horse has become its made it even better that ive had to wait to find a horse like him. and i know you'll find your perfect horse.
