Actually, "developed" countries such as most of Europe, Japan, and even U.S and Canada have some of the lowest birthrates. Asia, Africa, are the ones destroying the world and giving all the western countries a big fat "carbon footprint." So next time you see a charity for saving starving kids halfway around the world, send them a condom!

@redwolffire We send sex ed and foreign aid to countries that have lower birth rates than us. The ecological footprint would also naturally be most significant in Western nations (US, Canada, UK, rest of the EU, China, Russia, Australia, etc.) who including the most industrial nations (ie. nations of Western origin/influence) represent more than 80% of the world's carbon emissions (among other actually important factors like land and resource use).

All those people dying of hunger probably aren't leaving big carbon footprints, since they aren't having food transported very far, can't afford a lot of meat, don't have personal cars, big pets or indoor heat and plumbing. Genereally the things that produce these carbon footprints.

Educated people who eat three times a day have less kids - give to charities that support that ideal.

HOLY SHIT! This guy is totally on cue! It is true, we get retarded tips how to turn the light off when you are not in the room and shit like that, and how "alternative energy" is going to solve everything, when it is all just a load! My dad works designing the hulls for freighters, he says that a 5% fuel save is enormous, and that the expansion of commercial traffic negates that save in less than a month.
