  • do you offer online classes? I'm torn between Celtic and Egyptian but the local shops refuse to answer questions and send me to the bookshelf. I've been studying for a few years and have narrowed it down to the two. I love your teachings BB

  • @beatlesfan8171763 Witchcraft is a specific magickal path that is Indo-European, The Cabot tradition adds the Hermetic philosophy which comes from the Egyptian Mystery school, but it is in practice Celtic. If you read my book, Power of the Witch you can get a solid explanation of what we teach and what path we follow. It is not for everyone but if you identify with it, then you will find it rather unique.

  • Excuse me what would you call a male witch??? ..A Wizard perhaps? and is there a way to find out if you have any natural or dormant powers for witch craft or channeling energy, or even something to enhance this in ourselves, or just to even verify that we were meant to be a witch or wizard

  • @NovaSquall Hi, one could use the term Wizard, but really the term 'Witch' applies to both sexes today. We all have the same latent talents, the science of Witchcraft teaches you how to develop and harness the abilities we have from birth, the art of Witchcraft allows you to live the path on a daily basis and finally if you are interested the religion teaches you how to live in these complex times. This is a great journey, if it is for you, you will know it and you will educate yourself in it.

  • I admire you, Laurie Cabot :) You are an amazing, unique, wise woman. I hope when you read these comments (if you do) that you are not affected by any of the negativity of others. You inspire me and I have learned many many things from your teachings.

  • @TomVinegar You are most kind. I think dialogue of any kind if important, if they care enough to post, perhaps they will care enough to learn something, if not then that is their loss. While the internet does seem to make some people rude, I prefer that to the cement blocks thought the windows of stores or the credible death threats when we first started this all these years ago. If 2000 years of active prosecution and persecutions have not stopped us, some unfortunate comments won't either.

  • @mekishiko1919 You are free to follow any path you choose. We don't recruit or try to convert anyone to walk our path and respect those who do not. Your comment about proof and new age nonsense: Witchcraft is certainly not new, in fact it predates Christianity and all the Abrahamic religions. Witchcraft is an art, religion, science and is anchored in Hermetic philosophy. No proof would satisfy those who do not wish to see, but it works for us and harms none.

  • it's hard to be a witch

  • Thanks for being one of the early authors in my exploration of witchcraft.

  • Ahhhhh, your voice is so calming~!

  • Do you have a online store? The only store around me is fairly small and not catered to Wicca/Witchcraft/ or magick really. It more Gaia this oracle card that. and your store looks amazing and I would so love to but from you.

  • @NovaSquall males are equal to females.also take on the name witch.rarely there will be some people that go by wizard. everyone has the ability.no ones higher than anybody else. this is not harry potter

  • Ms. Cabot, do you recommend Christopher Penczak's teachings? I know he was/is a former student of yours and I really like his teaching style. I wish I had the money to go up and take classes of yours. I enjoy your books. Thank you.
