If only I could

Another video slideshow I made to a poem I wrote. Hmmm...I like the other 'poem' more, but I think I did a better job with this video in that timing's a bit better and just overall presentation.

Music is Rasen by Chihiro Onitsuka.

Again, pictures not mine...found off websites. I tried to use different pictures to my other video slideshow, only repeating a couple, hehe. Let me know what you think, appreciate comments!

If only I could

I never wanted you to leave,
But how could I make you stay?
A fading memory,
Is all I'm becoming.

I never wanted to say goodbye,
But how could I go on?
Could I ever make you understand,
The pain that still remains.

I never wanted to walk away,
But how could I turn back?
Swore I'd never let you see,
The tears that flowed underneath.

I never wanted to let my dreams slip by,
But how could I hold onto an empty cause?
Thought that time would heal all,
Yet the hurt kept growing strong.

I never wanted it to end,
But how could I keep on pretending?
Wanting to keep you,
Yet you were never mine.
