This is one of my favorite remixes of Challenger 1985; nice use of synthesized instruments, especially the drums, something Konami's been known for on the PC Engine.

Recorded off the Ootake PC Engine emulator.

  • @RSXemperor I know your comment is a year old but I'm so inspired to make custom vic viper dumbells now and never get near a vagina for the rest of my life!

  • @RSXemperor lmao

  • @shalpp the MSX version is superior to the NES version nonetheless - if not compared to this PC version

  • This version seems very.... mellowing. Cool though mellowing in some odd way, doesn't get you crazy for first stage combat like the MSX PSG + SCC version does.

  • The PSG MSX version was pretty much the same as the NES version.

Just with...full PSG and no duty cycles

  • /watch?v=6-aF05A6nOs is my favorite version, though this one is a close 2nd or 3rd. Any version [MSX, MSX+SCC chip, Arcade, PC Engine, etc] beats the crap out of the NES version though.

  • Awesome.

  • Probably the best version of Challenger 1985. You're right, the drums fit very well. This beats all the other versions for me!
