  • Is that an Alberg 22? I grew up on an A30. Great boat. On a Laser, that's a great move to use for positioning at a race. Manipulating the tiller, you can drift backwards, steer the stern then yank the mainsheet to get moving again, but you have to quickly crank the tiller in your windward side.

  • It's a Tanzer 22

  • Awesome skill! Gonna have to learn how to do this... seems very useful in a pinch.

  • you never sail directly into the wind. You can only sail at 45 degrees into the wind. If you can't do that, maybe your boat doesn't have a daggerboard?

  • in lakes

  • Where do you sail?

  • I like your bubbly music . Great narration. Easy to understand.

  • I really wish that was true cuz when I took my boat yesterday , the wind just hit me and pushed me along and i could in no way sail against it, I tried every angle but the wind yet somehow pushed me

  • Sailing against the wind is much easier than sailing with the wind to your back.

  • I really really and truly dont understand how you people can SAIL AGAINST the wind in zick zack or in any other way. I tried everything and I cant sail against it . Whatever position my boat or the sail has it will go with the wind :(:(

  • This is so easy!! I mean I can go backwards and launch a boat singlehandidly. Why can't you show the extensions on the RYA sailing schemes

  • OMFG!!! I GREW UP ON A TANZER 22!!! no kids!! i'm thinking about bying one when i'm 18 and going to nova scotia
