One of my favorite acoustic piece by Led Zepellin's Jimmy Page, Black Mountain Side derived from Black
Water Side" first recorded by Bert Jansch. tuning is on DADGAD and we added a little DADGAD jam in the middle..Pagey, my favorite guitarist did a middle eastern flavor rendition hence the tablas...Our band Vectors through Vortex is working on a live version of this piece..in progress..

  • can't speak for the percussion player but he is not a traditionalist..we were just messin' around really..tablas can take a life time to learn..latin and African percussions are more his thing, I think...

  • and btw u arent actually playing the tabla are u? ur just keeping a rhythm...like on a bongo
