This is great! normally in class we would waste about an hour trying to do this sort of stuff and I learnt it in around 10 minutes. So much time could be saved in class if lessons were like this.

Same principle applies, you want to get x on its own so move the 5. The 5 is multiplying so will go to the other side and become a divide.

32 divided by 5 would be 6 remainder 2 but we would write this as 6 2/5 as we were dividing by 5. 2/5 is 0.4 (method shown in the Maths the Wacky Way book) so the answer is 6.4.
