Only my second tutorial, but it's one I've been promising for a while. As always if you have any questions leave me a comment, and if you can't figure it out or if you just want to buy one you can check out my shop at www.vickilyn13.etsy.com

  • i just didn get the thing like how long is the tulle?

  • it's the normal length that you can get at a fabric store, 45 inches

  • would it be possible to make the tutu longer w/o making it look like a pencil skirt with ruffled tulle on it? I'm thinking about using this type of skirt as a petticoat underneath a lolita skirt.

  • What I would suggest because I've done this for my sister is to just make the strips if tulle wider so you'll make it longer without having the skirt be too long or tight

  • oh your ''between fingers'' part of the hand comes so close to the needle around 7:10 i got scared haha

  • Ahh, it did, but the foot stops me from sewing over my hand... which is a good thing

  • Thank you so much for this! I used your design to make 6 gorgeous jewel coloured tutus for a fairie boys chorus in a local play - the boys wore your tutus, matching satin bloomers, and wifebeaters. The biggest fairie was 6'3" - they were a hit! Thanks again!
