  • Ya it was hard to sell this amp.

  • sounds amazing, i love the tone of this old thing. i've got a blackface pro reverb but it doesn't seem to sound quite as crisp as this one!

  • I never did sell it if your interested. I also have a 1963 brown vibrolux and I dont need both. They are great amps. The black face still has the original untouched speakers .

  • @vibroluxon8

Hi there!!! I see another "creamy one" besides the one playing...I had it...is it different from the black one? I am talking about compenents...or is the colour the only difference? The one that I had was made in the 90s...unfortunately I sold it because I thought I needed a more powerful amp...I was wrong..this is nice, perfect for blues and jazz too, and it's very light considering it's a 40 watts.

  • The brown amp is a 1963 Vibrolux. It has a 1X12 vintage 30 in it. It is my favorite amp of all times and I have owned at least 30 amps. Its amazing. It absolutely loves effects pedals. Mark Knofler's favorite amp also. I will probably own this amp until I die. If you find one buy it.

  • I feel the 63 Brown deluxe is better

  • Probably the best sounding amp Fender ever made!

  • @vibroluxon8 I am a mark knopfler fan also he he If that was a UK power supplt model I would buy it right now, but I am not wanting to use a step down transformer, here in the UK they do come up now and then, U just have to be fast, or offer more money, wish I lived in the US, I would have lots, I own a sf vibrochamp, I just sold a silverface bassman, thinking of getting a silverface dr or pr, again need the UK voltage models tho, wish we all used the same voltage, amps would be cheeper then eh

  • you sound like if you were giving away your heart or something...

  • I have the duncans california 50s staggered poles in my strat, and a hot rod deluxe 3, do U think the clean channel on a hot rod deluxe is as good as a 65 deluxe reverb reissue, just the clean channel, not so much the vibrato, at first I was tempted to sell my hrd and get a drri, but now the tubes are worn in, it is sounding proper nice and sweet, lots of shimmering glass tones with the presence up and bright engaged, get back asap with your info cheers

  • @vibroluxon8

..my brown vibrolux from the 90s had differet knobs though...it looked like the black vibrolux "custom" reverb...I opened it with a friend that builds amps and he told me that it was very well done (not 100% point-to-poit...but kind of close to that)

  • maybe i'll trade you for the pro reverb! i should put a vid up of it
