WMM 2.6 in Windows 7 and FX.wmv

I would appreciate some help with Special FX and WMM 2.6 in Win7. I have been unsuccessful in installing the ShaderTFX.msi program and getting it to work with WMM 2.6 in Win7. I know that this program was for Vista, but since Vista and 7 are so similar, I would think there is a way to get all of the transitions to work in 7. I also would like some help in getting the PIP to work in WMM 2.6 in Win7. Please feel free to pass along any links or messages.

I just downloaded ShaderTFX and am having the same problem. im using WMM 2.6 on Windows 7. Cant see any of the effects on my movie maker either. Did you figure it out? PLEASE HELP

I like windows movie maker VISTA.

if you have a video recorder( or camera) try makeing your movie on W.M.M.V AND THEN record useing your video camera YOUR windows video. with the right lighting you would be surprised at how good and better your video will come out.it's twice the work,but worth it.now what your doing is making a movie over a movie over a movie.i think this is what your looking to do or asking about here.

im havin the same prob.. im usin windows movie maker 6.0 but i did try it with 2.6 and it didnt work.. have u found an answer...
