This is an air battery test experiment I have had running for the last few weeks. The outer masking tape is just to hold the magnesium ribbon in place. The battery works fine without the outer masking tape layer. If you do not have cotton you can also use masking tape for the layer between the carbon rod and the magnesium ribbon . Masking tape seems to work almost as good as the cotton with only a slight voltage drop.

  • pencil graphite from a number two pencil should work for a carbon source

  • @diesalweasel this led can light up at 0,009 A or 9mA

Connect it paralel to supuer capacitator will be great results.

But: Super capacitators fast dry out, comaprint life time of a wire (metal)

It works as longest there is electromagnetic fields in the air.

No radio or TV stations = "no free energy"

  • How do you know air is acting like an electrolyte? Maybe the carbon is simply collecting the radiant energy and channeling the electrons out through the magnesium ribbon.

  • Awesome! Nice project for mountain bike lightings! Please pursue it . . . it has commercial future for night mountain bikers!

  • Stubblefield ground batteries should be disk-shaped spiral coils right?

  • Wow ! great work !

  • I think free energy using non movable parts is still the best stable design.

  • try putting that sucker on a pyramid. the russian pyramid research said they could charge batteries on top of a pyramid they built. it naturally focuses some of the earths energy i'd like to see some experiments with earth batteries and Pryramids. look up some David wilcock. the guy is a nut

  • Water this Galvani Elements. Normal Batterie. I have built this with 32 Volt and 0,1 Ampere

  • How can mere "air" be an electrolyte? Air is a dielectric insulator and it takes 1000s of volts to make it conduct. An electrolyte is just the opposite of "air".....it is very easy for electricity to flow through unless of course a chemical reaction takes place using the oxygen in the air to facilitate electron or ion flow.
