I think this video is bad.. Sorry..

But I have head in a interview with Peter Gabriel, that the song is to all the people that have lost someone in 2001, when both World Trade center towers collapsed after plane crashes.!! That's what the song is about.. That's really sad, but important to know!

It's about death and that we all grieve for those who have lost someone that day! I don't like this video

Even if mr. Gabriel had written the song exclusively about the grief after 9/11 (before the attack even happened!), I don't think he would mind the song being used in an all-so-slighly different context by me or someone else (say, the one who chose the music for Jonathan Kent's funeral in Smallville). To me the lyrics are very universal, the sorrow is always the same.

I concur, I watched City of Angels in 1999 I believe.

Also, with steel beams reinforcing the concrete (as all multi-story buildings have), a plane hitting the top would not likely have caused it to fall. The rumor of foul play remains unproven either way, but you cannot discount the evidence pointing toward it.
