Too much! Don Wilson was no dancer, and Eddie "Rochester" Anderson had a scratchy voice at best, but these two put on a superb routine of song and dance that'll never be equaled. I'm so glad that I found this- I can't stop smiling!!!

If I was still smoking it would still be Luckies. I used to smoke them coz of Jack Benny`s radio show. And all my insurance is thru State Farm coz they advertised him on tv.

i want a cigg the jack benny show is funny and im smoking loving the taste becouse it lucky strike i wish tv was like this
This was an "integrated commercial" for Jack's sponsor [Lucky Strike], and people actually looked forward to this on his radio and TV shows (Jack and his writers controlled what and HOW that middle commercial would be performed). Usually, around the middle of the prorgam, The Sportsmen Quartet would sing a popular song, then alter the lyrics to "sell" the cigarette. Occasionally, Eddie "Rochester" Anderson would sing the praises of "Luckies" (and do a great soft-shoe number to it as well on TV).

Those of you who think Jack Benny had some of the most gifted performers, raise your hand.
