This sculpture explores the way people interact with others, moving here and there, making friends, leaving friends behind, etc. It uses four gears to create a changing cycle of movements, so that the machine only begins to repeat itself after 60 turns of the crank. The machine is made of steel and brass with cast urethane figures.
