Abney Park Cemetery is a park in Stoke Newington, North London, an oasis of calm and a place of refuge from the busy streets. This film tries to capture the park's atmosphere through imagery and quotes from visitors and people working in the park.

  • my sisters interred here we could not afford a stone last time i was there, there was a huge tree where i think she was buried miss you joyce vanner

  • what a wonderful... magic place!!!

  • My grandmother (on my mother's side) is buried here, and although I lived on Clissold Crescent, not far away, I never went to see her grave. Today, I live in the United States and I wish I could come back and visit this place. Still, I am grateful for this video. Thank you for creating it.

  • I am a local and often visit the cemetery alone for the special atmosphere and the wildlife. I have never had the slightest concern or difficulty when visiting during daylight hours. It is certainly not a place to be alone at night - but there is no good reason to be in a cemetery after dark anyway. The video is beautiful.

  • Abney Park Cemetery is a very scarey and threatening place. NEVER ever go there alone....

  • My Grandmother and Great Gradfather are buried in Abney park Cemetary, This is a beautiful video, only just one thing bothered me was that lady walking her dog, I think thats disrespectful, its not a place for dogs to foul, its a cemetary, and I for one was annoyed seeing they allow dog walking to carry on in there having relatives buried there.

  • That was kind of stupid... But pretty.

  • Hahah im an Abney i wish to be burried in there i think King William De Albini was burried there and i wish to be next to him... that would be soo cool!

  • This video reminds me of my childhood in Stoke Newington. The cemetary is beautiful and its beauty is reflected in the video.

  • It is indeed a Magickal place. Great mushrooms.Your Video brought me into remembrance of walks. It evoked.
