I can urge repentance all day, but unless the Lord be pleased to extend his gift of repentance , it is to no avail.  I have righteousness that is higher than ANY.... However it is not my own!

hey brother, i think you are incorrect to say that you hate the church. The church primarily is a body of believers that love Jesus and come together to worship, pray and learn together from the Bible. Church is also a place where we can exercise and excell in the gifts of the Spirit. (Im not saying is the only place). Church is present in the Bible. Please dont hate the church of Christ ! Peace :)

NarrowLife.. You quote scripture with confidence. How can you say ALL organized religion is corrupt 2 it's core?? The Apostles modeled what the church is and how its organized. God is a God of order..there are wicked people in the church but THAT is not the church.. you said you "hope you're wrong about this "dream"." If God reveals, be bold in this as it is from God. Only HE will be glorified in it coming 2 pass. Isn't this venue your "church"? You'r the one in front giving the message now.

You do NOT have righteousness higher than any, ONLY through GOD is it possible to be made righteousness through HIM.

You CAN call for repentance, you yourself can repent.

@LadyD1979 I don't think he was hating the church in general, i think he was just against conformed churches that all they did was get dressed, go to church and sit while you listen silently and left. i can see why he's against it. there isn't much communication to the pastor if you have questions because all they want you to do is sit and be quiet then go home.

I think some people go to church for the fellowship in Christ and others go to church to make social, political and business contacts.

A "fear monger? Or a voice that says "Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man." and "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge."

It is true. All the faithful in Christ have a gut feeling something big is about to happen with more to come.
