Eastern bluebird nest building Day 7

This was definitely the most productive day so far. In the morning, Mama took nesting materials into the box and dropped them off at an average of 3 minutes at a time! In the afternoon, she concentrated on working on the nest cup, making sure it was deep enough and that the sides were strong enough not to cave in on her while she is incubating the eggs and caring for the chicks. She also got at least 4 mealworms from Daddy which is a courting behavior (ahhh).
