The first day of the 2011 Paris Air Show began with rain, included several orders for Boeing airplanes, and ended with the 747-8 Freighter landing after an historic transatlantic flight powered by a biofuel blend. Boeing's Jarrod Bartlett wraps up the day's events in this video.

  • @AviadorLPA Aren't Boeing the ones making the 787 the first plane to be mostly made of carbon fibre composites?

  • Chris Gregiore is a moron, but Boeing is awesome.

  • @jgooch1415 No, do it even better, do not fly at all to foreign countries. "if it aint boeing im not going" people should stay in USA.

  • @guynamedoliver Yes, shadowed by the fact they are "undisclosed" or in negociation. The truth is that 15 of the 17 are the subject of political gerrymandering between the Chinese hierarchy and the EU. I think Boeing maybe a pawn in the political game.

  • I'd love to attend the Paris Air Show, would be so awesome!

  • Boeing make aircrafts, Airbus just make plastic fly! :D

  • Awesome news, keep those orders coming!

  • If it aint Boeing, Im not going!!

  • we are all so happy for Boeing
