The Peter Musurlian Guide to Fairness & Accuracy in "Journalism"

When Turkish Consul General Hakan Tekin gave a June 10, 2008 talk in a Californian classroom (Claremont Graduate University; the topic had nothing to do with Armenians, and regarded "The Roles and Challenges of Turkey in a Globalizing World"), Filmmaker Peter Musurlian of Globalist Films was ready to pounce with his video camera set on "character assassination" mode. The big-hearted organizers gave Mr. Musurlian permission to videotape, little aware of his hostile intent. (In the meantime, the genocide scholars Mr. Musurlian likes to point to as "proof" of his genocide usually conduct their propaganda sessions behind closed doors, fearful of opposing viewpoints.) When the classroom students did not appreciate the invasion of their privacy, as well as being exposed to genocide-mad followers known for their extremism, YouTube required Mr. Musurlian to distort the students' faces; yet predictably, Mr. Musurlian switched back to his original footage, when YouTube was no longer looking - providing a sample of his "journalistic" ethics.

Mr. Musurlian enjoys hiding behind the title of "journalist," when what he is really doing is pursuing an agenda; a harmful agenda that fosters hatred and prejudice. This video explores the degree of fairness his conscience allowed in the treatment of his victim, the kind of Turkish consul other Armenian-genocide extremists felt compelled to treat in a deadlier form of character assassination only a few years ago. In addition, the video also examines the accuracy of Mr. Musurlian's claims, as when he accuses his victim of "half-truths, prevarications and outright falsification."

Armenians murdered many more Turks and Muslims during this tragic and inhuman time of history, in a true campaign for systematic extermination, a side of the story the propaganda-accepting West is unaware and uncaring of. These hundreds of thousands victimized by the brutality of Armenians are generally held in contempt by Mr. Musurlian, during the rare times he bothers to acknowledge them. Yet because he is a "denier," no Turkish person is going to hate him, nor will it occur to any Turkish person to take a video camera and hound Mr. Musurlian at his doorstep, as Mr. Musurlian feels compelled in spending his own money and time to do.

Care has been taken so as not to infringe upon Mr. Musurlian's copyrighted material, primarily pointing to photographs not owned by the filmmaker. A handful of screenshots and sound bits have been used, in order to demonstrate Mr. Musurlian's standards and practices. Peter Musurlian here again. I wanted to add that as a U.S. Army veteran, who served in Central Europe for 8 months...and as the son of an American-born Korean War veteran...I find the crime of plotting to kill American soldiers particularly outrageous. What is being taught in the Muslim-Turkish-American community that would drive a 21-year-old kid, in the 21st Century, to want to kill the American soldiers who give him the very freedom to work in a 7/11 in America?
