In Lawton about 1956. She responded to our applause with 3 encores. The last was "Tired" delivered sitting on the edge of the stage and rubbing her feet. I still remember an article about it. She was invited to a party the night before. She responded by saying " I won't be able to come to your party, I need a good rest before every performance. I do promise to entertain you the night of the performance. Thank you for understanding." It was the best live show I have ever seen.
