'Inspector Dick SMITH' heads the 'Press Conference' at the Kelowna Police Staion on Friday April 31992 after human remains were located by ISS in Okanagan Lake.

Insp Dick SMITH and Srgt G TIDSBURY speak to the Media after a male Body was found @10.14am by ISS under the floating bridge in Okanagan Lake.

International Sea Search donated their time to search for the body of missing 'Charles Horvath'
The Horvath-Allan family were to pay for the hire of the sub-mersible camera and the expenses of the ISS team.

ISS called the RCMP.
The RCMP arrived @ 10.17am. after ISS called them @ 10.14am to inform the RCMP of their find.
Police Divers went into Okanagan Lake and recovered the male body and brought it the surface around noon.

1992 Apr 3 - Sgt G Tidsbury and Const Greg Shaigec arrived @ the Pandosy Motel around 2.30pm to advise Denise Allan (mother of Charles Horvath) that a male body had been recovered from Okanagan Lake.

The RCMP did not invite mother 'Denise Allan' who was alone in Canada to the Press Conference at the Police Station but instead decided take away her cell telephone and to send her the Hospital (strapped into an ambulance) 'as a precautionary measure'.

After Fri afternoon Arp 3rd - Sat 4th - Sun 5th - Mon 6
No contact was made by the Authorities with Denise Allan to update her on the situation.

Except at around 11.20pm Sunday evening !992 April 5th -
The Coroner came to see Denise Allan in the Hospital to obtain details to complete a 'Death Certificate' for the body of her son.

The Coroner was asked if the body had been identified to which he answered 'No' but they were sure it was 'Charles'.

Denise Allan said that it was immoral to complete a 'Death Certificate' for a body it is not known to whom it belongs.

Denise Allan asked where the body was and wished to view it (covered). It was advised that the body was in the Kelowna Hospital Morgue.

The body was taken on Monday Apr 6th to Vancouver for examination.

Denise Allan left the hospital in the morning and returned home to The Pandosy Motel.

The Coroner came with a 'Press Release' timed @ 5.25pm stating the it was NOT the body of 'Karoly John Horvath'.
