@teodosiosSOLUN : Just a tiny bit earlier, but still in Thessaloniki, Greece (1978 or 9). Yiannis Petridis played on the radio for the first time Pere Ubu, Red Krayola and Cabaret Voltaire. That day changed also my way of listening to music.

A friend of mine kept buying imported LPs ("diskous eisagogis") with Pere Ubu, Pedestrians et al, too expensive back then for me. But I was lucky he was my friend. Maybe we are talking about the same guy, who knows…
