Excellent video! Unfortunately, most people will learn this lesson the hard way after having lived through massive inflation. The ever hopeful will watch their savings evaporate year by year as the govt's never ending promises go unfulfilled.

Silver is a better alternative than gold. The problem with gold is that the central bankers would have an easier time manipulating its price, as we are seeing done right now, than they would silver. Further, only 10% of the silver has been mined from Silverton, Co so there is plenty of silver available. Finally, America has traditionally relied on silver for money while Europe relied on gold and we did just fine.
