The Glass Menagerie Scene 1 (adaptation)

This performance was done for grading in a module called ACR421 Teaching Drama in NTU/NIE. The purpose of this assignment is for each group to stage one scene each from an assigned play, and reflect on what we have learnt and what we can possibility teach our students as we teach them drama texts.

The play is called "The Glass Menagerie" by Tennessee Williams.
My group consisting of Melody Bay(Laura), Adeline Tang(Amanda) and I(Tom) was assigned to do scene 1. We decided to adapt the play to the Colonial Singapore era in a house of a Straits Chinese family and decided not to use some of the original stage directions to suit the constraints of our stage and make it more children-friendly.
