Exodus is an American thrash metal band formed in 1980 in Richmond, California.[1] Spanning a career of over 30 years, Exodus has gone through numerous lineup changes, two extended hiatuses, and the deaths of two former band members. Guitarist Gary Holt remains the only constant member of the band, appearing on all their releases. Drummer Tom Hunting is one of the founding members, and departed from the band twice but has since returned to the lineup.
Testament is an American metal band from Berkeley, California,[1] formed in 1983. They are often credited as one of the most popular bands of the 1980s thrash metal scene.[2][3][4] In the 28 years since its inception, Testament has had numerous lineup changes, and guitarist Eric Peterson has been the only constant member, although the band currently also features two of its original members, Alex Skolnick (guitarist) and Greg Christian (bass). Chuck Billy replaced former singer Steve Souza in 1986, prior to the recording of their first studio album, The Legacy, and has been a member of the band since.

Testament for me. Exodus is nice, but I think Testament has a better edge to it's music.

6.. i hate to say this but they are underrated.
