I remember my PC at the time wasn't able to run this game... then I got a new one which had a Geforce 2 in it....... then going to the local internet/gaming cafe with a few mates and a heap of randoms because the net was too slow at the time to enjoy it properly... then not long after the best Multiplayer game of all time came out BATTLEFIELD 1942!!!

I remember staying at the game select screen just so I could hear this epic music!!!

Brings back floods of memories. This is the game that taught me the whole principle of tactics and gaming shooting physics. It was a time when I was 13 and had no worries. I got so engrossed. Every Saturday clan match.. organising matches on Clanbase. Using Roger Wilco voice software. We had a Barry server too. Remember those? You could contribute paying using a Splash Plastic card so us 13yr olds could help pay with our pocket money!
I salute you Mohaa and the excellent Quake 3 engine.

@AKay47Arab Same... It began my gaming life. I still remember sucking then having one amazing TDM round on the Stalingrad map then I was hooked, joined a clan and still have some great friends from there that I speak to today. 10 years on!

I was so good at this game I could take out a whole clan by myself then I would get acused of hacking. That how good I was. I've only met one other person online that was as good as me he went by the name of "BigRed" and even I at some point thought he was cheating cause he was so good lol.
My god. What memories this brings back to my old gaming roots. Thumbs up if you seriously had to fight back tears while listening.
