@antonyhoch Hi again, sorry for teh slow reply - we were on the boat for 4 days (5 if you include the pickup day which is a short day where you cant get much done) and we left from Kingston -on-Murray. Apparently there's some better scenery further upstream and across the border into Victoria. Hope you can make it happen.

That looked totally amazing. I'm trying to convince my wife we need to ditch our broken quake ruined home in Christchurch, New Zealand and buy a houseboat on the Murray. She's not sold on the idea yet. :(

@antonyhoch Hi Thanks for the comment - we had a great time on the boat and are planning another trip this year. We are all sad to hear about Christchurch, seems you guys are having a horrible time of it. Life on a houseboat would be extremely relaxing - and certainly earthquake proof. Best of luck...
