I am a die hard BtVS / Angel fan, but, I love him as Seely Booth. I swear, I laugh when I watch every single show. He so naturally funny with his exspressions. This man makes work look like fun. I love the Bones show, but, will forever love him as Angel. I can't wait to see what future roles he will conquer. He gets more gorgeous through the years...

@canuck21 that's a massive generalisation of BtVS and Angel fans... and move on from what? I like him as Booth, but the character of Angel is, to me, more interesting...

and yes, i acknowledge that there are differences between Angel and Booth, but to say that he is 'in no way similar to Angel' is an overexaggeration. Boreanaz is still playing a man with a dark, troubled past surrounded by death, Compare that to Anthony Head whose new role in BBC's 'Merlin' is nothing at all like Giles

@celinelowe Of course it's not up to the fans to make David's career. It's just a way of saying that Buffy/Angel fans are stuck-up and won't move on.

Although Booth as a troubled past, he is in no way similar to Angel. Booth is still a much more joyful and colourful character. Angel is all dark and he rarely laughs. Quite different characters.

I don't think it's up to the fans to make David's career, some people just prefer his character Angel, and personally I'm one of them, but I think that it is clever of him to distance himself from the character of Angel career-wise because the Booth character with his dark past is incredibly similar to Angel

No wonder David is annoyed when people ask him about Angel. Buffy/Angel fans are so stuck up and they cling to the past. They won't let him have a career outside of Angel. Now I completely understand his annoyance.

Oh and BONES is a fantastic show and Bones and Booth are a joy to watch. The best couple since Maddie and David. Yes, they're even better than Mulder and Scully.
