  • I'd rather buy a used ONKYO high end receiver than buy this overpriced rack!

  • Well-made video, good mod.

  • This rack/stand is basically taking the HiFi mod of using IKEA 'Lack' tables for audiophile use that were modded by cutting the table legs down and screwing bolts/screws to the bottoms of the legs then stacking them on each other as many times as you needed.

The plus side of this podium is that it appears to made of solid wood and the IKEA tables are hollowed veneered things.

  • what hi-fi, more like what bs.

these guys clearly dont live in the real world.

  • its £460... but being bespoke, custom made out of solid oak its not too bad,... bare in mind the steel atacama machine made racks sell for £500+

  • and how much for this pile of wood? £250! probably what What Hifi would call bargain of the decade!

  • mmm muscular sound.... i seriously doubt... i can understand when listening to vinyl you want to isolate any vibrations that may affect the sensitive parts of the player by cd? im a bit skeptical i would imagine though when someone spends 20 grand on a hifi system they want to make sure that every box is ticked 'just incase' these guys give them the confidence to spend £1000 on a rack.

anyway i do agree to an extent

  • Audiophiles spend more time tinkering, messing, changing this, changing that, a tweek here and a tweek there than actually listening to any music! I bet they where all the type who had to take things to pieces when younger! REMEMBER! Its whats in the groove that counts!

  • @likker5tuFF as unbelievable as it sounds it's completely true. It's all to do with isolating all of your equipment from any outside "influence" in the way of minute vibrations and such - the better the isolation and damping is, the cleaner the sound will be as there will be far fewer interferences

  • Yes it does. If you have never tried , you should.

Every little change can make huge differents in the system, even a little slice of corkplug underneat the CD player or receiver or a butcherplate.

If you don't get a decent cabels, and some spikes or racks ,then you only listen 50% of what your system could do.

    Try it and wonder.
