Ryan Callahan played tailback at Old Mill High School in Millersville Maryland. Rushed for 5,266 career yards and set a Maryland state record with 87 touchdowns while averaging 8.7 yards per carry during his career, he also helped lead his team to the state playoffs all three years, including a berth in the semifinals in 2005, was voted a first-team all-state selection and named to the All-Met teams by both the Baltimore Sun and Washington Post.
