In the course of this interview he considers the larger significance of the Muslim majority's abuse of the Christian minority in Bethlehem, a circumstance that Rabbi Jeret visited first-hand during a recent trip to Bethlehem when he preached a message of hope and solidarity to the city's Christian communities and learned first-hand from parishoners of their plight under the rule of a Muslim majority.
